PROJECT

Five years designing, procuring, managing the construction of the most complicated and the largest in the World for GE GEMTEC (General Electric Manufacturing Center in the 2nd Industrial City in Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Jan 2008 to End 2012. Project total cost 250 million US dollars excluding 130,000 square meters land cost.

 Procured the best solution for the electric power source for the lowest cost saved 20% from the actual cost for the entire power generation by special layout design of the 8 MW efficient generators farm to include the cheapest Diesel in the world 7 US Cents a liter and easy access and maintenance,
 Supplied 2000 tons of air-cooled chillers that require minimum power and kept 40,000 square meters manufacturing facility with 24 C degrees and the outdoor is 50 C degree that saved power consumption and electric power approximately 10% from total power.
 Supplied and installed special material for over 20,000 square meter roof from Polyisocyanurate that is an outstanding insulator, fire retardant, and minimized fire insurance cost 50% and minimized cooling requirement.
 Built GEMTEC facility from precast concrete that saved GE Energy 30% of operation and maintenance cost compared to the steel structure.
 Designed and built four electrical substations to feed various activities efficiently.
